Human Resources Newark Workshops

  • Business Writing Program
    • Writing, whether on a website, in a letter or in an email and even on a hastily written post-a-note, needs to communicate our goals and objectives, our needs, our ideas and, yes, who we, unique individuals all, are in the workplace.   In this workshop, we will discuss our writing and the needs of writing in our Rutgers life in order to determine if we have all of the resources we need to write well and how we can help others do the same.
  • The Write Voice:  What Your Correspondence Says About You

  • Bring Your Own Brown Bag Sessions
  • Grants and Gifts: What's the Big Deal?

    • It is an understanding and appreciation of our differences that contribute to the realization of an academic, work and living environment free from harassment based on an individual’s race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, disability, and marital or veteran status. Rutgers University is committed, through policy and practice, to a standard of conduct required of its students, faculty, and staff that will foster such an environment. In collaboration with University Human Resources, supervisory and non-supervisory harassment training is offered throughout the year on the Newak campus. In addition, see below for the link to the on-line harassment training also offered at the University.
