Purpose Statement
The Office of Human Resources at Rutgers University – Newark, values and is committed to the educational, research, and community outreach mission of The State University of New Jersey. Our objective is to assist management in the most effective use of human resources, to maximize the potential of those who work for us, and to implement and administer HR practices and programs that will attract and retain employees from diverse backgrounds.
