DESCRIPTION:The Alternate Benefit Program (ABP) is a tax-sheltered\, defined contribution retirement program for certain higher education faculty\, instructors and administrators. SUMMARY:Communicator Certificate Program
DESCRIPTION:The two foundation courses focus on understanding of Rutgers mission\, values\, vision; understanding of university policies and procedures; knowledge of Rutgers University identity system; familiarity with Rutgers templates and other resources; ability to identify key university constituencies. \nEmployees interested in receiving the certificate must enroll and complete the following courses within 12 months from the date of the first session attended: \nRPE901 Understanding Rutgers Identity  \n9:00 am – 12:00 pm \nThree-hour classroom session. Participants will learn how to properly use the new Rutgers University identity system. This workshop will focus on the importance of branding and a systematic approach for the proper use of the university identity\, as well as on how to more effectively tell the Rutgers story. \nRPE902 Communication Guidelines and Policy \n1:00 pm – 4:00 pm \nThree-hour classroom session. Participants will receive an introduction to the many policies\, procedures\, and guidelines that guide communications and marketing efforts. This workshop will focus on standards that guide web design\, filming and photography\, advertising\, copyrights\, and purchasing\, as well as resources for finding detailed information about these and other communication related issues.
