DESCRIPTION:Rutgers Emergency Services offers the New Jersey State Safety Council Defensive Driving Course enabling students\, faculty\, and staff members to meet the University requirement to operate a University owned\, leased or rented vehicle. This course is available to non-members of the Rutgers community at a cost of $20.00 per student. Those affiliated with the University can attend free of charge. \n\nPlease bring a copy of your Drivers License to class.\nMust have completed a vision screening within the last six (6) months if operating a University vehicle. One can be provided the day of the course for $15.00 per student.\n\nIf there are any questions regarding the New Jersey State Safety Council Defensive Driving Course\, please contact Rutgers University Emergency Services directly at (848) 932-4800. \n
