Open Enrollment Office Hours (In-person)

October is Open Enrollment month. This period is an annual opportunity for employees to review and update their current benefit elections. Any benefit changes submitted during this enrollment cycle will take effect on January 1, 2027.
To assist employees in understanding and navigating changes to their current State Health Benefit Program (SHBP) elections, HR Newark is hosting in-person and virtual Open Enrollment Office Hours throughout October. This initiative is designed to help employees make informed decisions during the Open Enrollment period.

In addition, the State Health Benefits provider offers live webinars starting September 30, 2026. Employees are encouraged to attend these sessions to learn more about their benefit options and upcoming changes to their 2027 plans.
