Upcoming schedule for Technology Workshops facilitated by Office of Information Technology.

Blackboard Introduction: This session is for users who are new or novice users to Blackboard to explore the basics of setting up and running a course in Blackboard.

Topic Covered:

  • General access and navigation of your course
  • Communication tools and best practices
  • Posting content and ensuring all your students can access it
  • Creating assignments
  • Creating assessments (tests and quizzes) and best practices for remote assessment

Blackboard Advanced: This session is for the advanced user who already has a basic understanding of the use of Blackboard. This session will cover techniques of recording a lecture and holding live sessions.

Working Remotely

Webex is provided to the Rutgers community as a tool to hold meetings virtually and can host a meeting of up to 1000 participants. Information about creating your account and holding meetings can be found at https://webex.rutgers.edu. Also, we will be holding the following workshops:
